The American Re-EDucation Association (AREA), established in 1982, helps child development and intervention professionals in their work with troubled and troubling children & youth and their families. AREA members are people just like you, dedicated to working with children who have emotional and/or behavioral
problems, creating collaborative and supportive relationships with their families, and contributing to the development of a healthier, more effective ecology for each of them.
